February 2024

We welcomed a new member, Heather who heard about us via the EGA website.

Marilyn gave a talk on wool felt appliqué. She showed us lots of the tools and gave helpful hints. She's an excellent resource for anyone wishing to try this technique.

This pillow showed that appliqué can also be done with good quality flannel.

Meagan kicked off the round robin. The participants met and shared the inspiration for their pieces and passed the fabric, threads. and suggestions on to the first person on the circuit.

Show and share

Geri showed her Winter Rose Manor; started on January 1, 2023. It was a stitchalong with 5 other guild members - Marilyn, Jennifer, Barb, Poppy, and Sharon. Geri added all their initials

Barbara's inspiration sampler from her California Whitework group was stitched in memory of the designer.
This embroidery kit was turned into Marilyn's first punch needle project.
MaryK finished the Holiday Hoopla projects for January, February, and March.

Barb brought in her table topper quilt top called 'Heartland' from the Spring 2018 issue of Primitive quilts and Projects". It also features wool felt appliqué.
Our monthly stitching day is this Saturday from 10 - 4.
