September 2026

At our first meeting this fall, the lineup for monthly programs was discussed, and the theme for our Trillium Annual Themed Award (TATA) was determined - any type of embroidery but cross-stitch.

SHOW AND SHARE

Jeanette hemstitched her 'Louisa Acton' sampler and had it beautifully mounted and framed by Kimat Designs framing service.

During COVID, the guild met online via Zoom. The project Kim took us through month by month was this alphabet sampler incorporating 26 specialty stitches. She finally got her own finished and framed.
Laura completed the Crabapple Hill Hallowe'en Neighbourhood Table Ma', colouring the fabric with crayon, embroidering the images, then quilting the piece.
Judy has embraced slow stitching with an incorporated the Artsy Housewife pattern 'Weeds and Wildflowers', William Morris 'Strawberry Thief' fabric and embellishments into the project and mounted it on a spool.

Geri and Bev's 'Shashiko Biscornu' by Atelier Pin & Needle. Geri's is on 22ct evenweave and Bev's is 32ct linen.

Nancy's hexagonal pincushion 'Bees in the Greenhouse', designed by The Blue Flower.

Laura's 'ABC' by Birdbrain Designs.
Cathy's Pinker n Punkin 'The Ole Crow Saltbox' - a freebie
